It ended in defeat tonight against a very strong Edenderry Women's team, but there's so much that can be applauded about the performance from our Girls. Plenty to be upbeat about and indeed when looking at the new talent coming through and those who made their senior debuts against seasoned opposition, we can be certain exciting times await the Heifers in the near future.

Our first Woman of the Match recipient of the season was a very difficult decision as there were so many candidates to choose from, however we are delighted to announce Tasha Feery as the winner for putting in an immense eighty minute shift at the park tonight. congratulations Tasha.  Another very special mention of merit to Paula Lafferty who provided one of the highlights of the match scoring her debut try for the Heifers, well done Paula (and Dad was there to see it) not to mention Nikki Feery’s sensational breathtaking end to end sprint for another Nicky special try of the season moment, Brilliant Nicky
