Following the Government lockdown in Kildare, Laois & Offaly yesterday evening Leinster Rugby cancelled a number of rugby summer camps in the affected counties as the health and safety of participants is paramount. Leinster Rugby also cancelled the Mullingar camp as this camp was to be staffed by a number of coaches coming from the affected counties. Since the announcement Mullingar RFC and Leinster Rugby have been in communication throughout the night to see if there is any way the camp in Mullingar can go ahead and we are pleased to announce that it will now go ahead with Mullingar RFC responsible for running the camp. A very experienced coach based in the Westmeath area will lead the camp supported by experienced Mullingar RFC coaches, Leinster will supply balls, t-shirts and bags as outlined for the original camp.

We will honour all original bookings with Leinster, simply bring a copy of the email from Leinster that you received in the past week to confirm your participation on the course on the first morning of the course. We will require parents to complete a paper registration form and Covid-19 declaration on the first morning of the camp (a paper copy of this declaration will have to be completed for each day). Please ensure you bring the appropriate items such as gumshield, sun screen, water bottle with childs name on it,  light lunch and snacks, wet gear, etc as outlined in the Leinster email.  The camp will be provided free of charge however if parents/guardians want to make a donation at the end of the week we would be grateful to accept them.

Please note all IRFU #ReturnToRugby and Government COVID-19 Guidelines are in effect

Look forward to seeing you on Monday.
