Cycle Against Suicide – a national charity (CHY 20867) - has as its main goals, the prevention of suicide and support for those affected by it, as well as the promotion of mental health as a critical part of overall wellness. Mullingar Rugby Club are very happy to be asked to support this event.   

Suicide brings its own special brand of devastation. Survivors of a suicide loss claim their place in a club nobody would wish to join. Cycle Against Suicide, through it programmes, in schools, neighbourhoods and workplaces, weaves prevention into the very fabric of communities.
Cycle Against Suicide will host its annual Malin to Mizen Charity Cycle from Sunday 22^nd to Friday 27^th May. 

This event funds the work of Cycle Against Suicide with all monies reinvested back to local communities.

How our members can help

Participants can undertake the full event, multiple days or even a single day. The event caters for speed from 20kmph to 30+kmph. Should a number of our club members wish to come together as a team building exercise etc, while supporting suicide prevention, please let the organisers know as they will be happy to work to facilitate our members participation.
