Our U14 Girls got their season underway at Old Balreask Road on Sunday 30th September at a super Blitz organised by our hosts for the day Navan RFC. We played against Virginia, Navan and a Barbarians team. It was great to see some brilliant play, a good squad spirit, as well as the results favouring our Girls. The team has a really nice nucleus of players some in their second year at U14s but for others its their first year playing rugby at this level and is a big step up from U12 Minis Rugby, but watching you would never have thought that this was the case. 

Last Sunday the Girls played their first fully competitive fixture of the year in Virginia RFC and came out on top against a very skill full but inexperienced team. Our U14s technical skills and rugby know how made all the difference.

Next Saturday is our first Leinster League match Kicking Off at Shay Murtagh Park.
