Mullingar U15 Team Wins Big in Quarterfinals

Last Saturday, the under-15 rugby team from Mullingar went to Wicklow for a big game in the Division 1 quarterfinals. They were up against a strong Wicklow team. Even though Mullingar has faced some tough games recently, the team worked really hard all week and felt ready and excited for the match.

But, the day started with a bit of bad luck. During the warm-up, two of Mullingar's main players, Jack Keena and Jake Bell, got injured. This was a big challenge, but two other players, Ernest and Ignacious, stepped in and played amazingly well.

The game began, and Mullingar showed great teamwork from the start. The first 10 minutes were all about defending, and they did a great job stopping Wicklow from scoring. The coaches had told the team that winning would be about everyone working together, not just one or two players scoring points. This teamwork paid off, and Mullingar won the game 44-22. It was a big win because every player helped out, making it a special team victory.

Well done to the Mullingar U15 team for their great win and for showing what teamwork can do!
